In 1954, the President of US, Dwight D. Eisenhower, has been rumoured to have been meeting with extra-terrestrial beings. But the question is, is this rumour true or simply a feverish imagination made by the people?
The most common told story was that President Eisenhower made an unexpected vacation trip to Palm Springs. During this vacation, they say he was spirited away and sent to Edwards Air Force base were the said secret meeting with the aliens took place. Then the president was back to Palm Springs before dawn and then ordered that any information about UFOs should be kept discrete. .
It is acknowledged that the President really did go to a vacation in Palm Springs between the dates February 17 to 24 in the year 1954. It begs the question whether the purpose of this vacation is for pleasure only or not, because it’s not only the president had this vacation all of a sudden but also he had just came back from a quail shooting vacation in Georgia only less than a week before.
On the evening of the 20th of February, it is recorded that the president has mysteriously disappeared from the gathering. With him being gone created a controversy with the people and due to lack of valid explanations rumours had been made that the president was ill or even died.
The media were ready to spread the story until the Press secretary James Haggarty announced that the president had his tooth cap extricated while eating a fried chicken and had been brought to a local dentist to be treated. On the following evening, the President invited the dentist into a steak fry dinner as a “thank you” reward.
But in 1979, the dentist’s widow was interviewed about the treatment yet she doesn’t remember the incident of his husband treating the president, only the steak fry dinner.
Another anomaly was the sending of “thank you” notes to everyone on the trip except to the dentist who was said to have treated the president. But the most obvious justification was the President’s medical record because no evidence of dental work was found during the year of 1954.
The controversy was made stronger when the Former Government and Pentagon Consultant, Timothy Good testified that the president with the selected FBI officials met the “extra-terrestrials” thrice at Edwards and Holloman air bases. Good also stated that the governments all over the world have known and been communicating with the aliens for “many decades”.
So, were the evidences above enough for you to believe in the existence of “extra-terrestrials”? Yet, in the end it is we who decide for ourselves.
